Classic line shredder featuring Turbo Boos System: by pressing the Turbo switch the shredding capacity is increased to shred up to 52 sheets in one pass and eliminate paper jams. Kobra 240 SS5 comes with sturdy steel gears and metal chain drive system which offer reliability and resistance to wear, carbon hardened steel cutting knives unaffected by staples and clips. Motor thermal protection: 24 hour continuous duty motor without overheating and duty cycle. It can shred also CDs/DVDs, credit cards and floppy-disks.
Equipped with Energy Smart system with optical illuminated indicators for power saving stand-by mode, Oil-free System, automatic Start&Stop. Easy emptying operations: 9.5 gallon removable bin that does not require lifting the cutting head. The Safety stop system detects bin removal and automatically stops the cutting knives. Eco-friendly: a mechanism can separate shredded paper from plastic shreds, does not require plastic bags.
